Hey! I have a question - how did you gain so many followers? I have three.. not that I’m not happy about that, but it would be nice to have more... I work too hard on my art 😂😂. I once made one that went through six of my lead sticks o-o

My best advice is to just keep drawing. I've been on dA for... like 10 years? And I've posted a BUNCH of art. You gotta tag everything properly too so people can find it in searches! And also try to upload your work in as many places as possible: I used to put each of mine in 3-4 groups on dA where people saw it and decided to look at my account. Another thing is be consistent! People don't want to follow accounts who barely post. Try to post once a week or every two weeks so followers can always look forward to seeing content from you.
Overall, just focus on bettering yourself. As you start to grow and improve as an artist, followers will start to notice you more. The follower count isn't as important as you enjoying doing art. Make art for you, not for an arbitrary number on a screen. That said, drawing stuff people want to see (usually fanart) tends to draw in bigger audiences. My most popular deviation is a MLP I didn't even draw since I used a flash maker, but because it's Michael Jackson, people like it.

I've been on dA for a looong time haha. But you can get people to notice you by A. Making sure you use the right tags, and B. Upload as many places as you can! I shared a lot of my art to 3-4 different groups where other people noticed it and decided to follow me. Sometimes following someone will end up with them following you back, too (but don't follow people just for this). It really just takes time! And you gotta post consistently. Not every single day, but if you only post once a month, people might not want to follow you because you don't make enough content.
